A fiery orb of energy streaked towards an planet Earth. Four early warning satellites homed in on the object. On each of them were small tactical missiles that could destroy any threat before it could reach the atmosphere. As the orb neared the first one, the satellite fired two missiles. When the missiles got close, the orb changed directions sharply. The EWS mission control room immediately took note and activated the other three satellites. All three launched their missiles at the orb. Like before, the orb dodged the missiles deftly and accelerated towards Earth. Before the EWS mission control could sound the alarm, the orb had plummeted to the ground and off their tracking systems. The last known trajectory had the mysterious orb headed towards the Great Basin desert.
The orb crashed into an unpopulated area of the Nevada desert. Seismic instruments on the West Coast went crazy for a few seconds, then their readings normalized. A helicopter pilot in the area immediately went to the spot where he saw a celestial body crash into the ground. As he hovered over the area, he noticed small flaming spots on the ground that looked like footprints. Something human-shaped had made the giant crater and walked away.
